The Soča and the Koritnica are cold Alpine rivers with a steep slope and a high level of difficulty in certain sections.

Please remember to purchase a permit for the use of entry and exit points. The boating season is open from 15 March to 31 October. At the time of purchase, you can choose from:

• a single unnamed permit (valid for a single entry and exit on the river under the terms and conditions of the individual permit),
• a daily name card,
• a weekly name card and
• a season name permit.

Access to the Soča and the Koritnica for recreational boating is only permitted at marked entry and exit points.

The boating season is open from 15 March to 31 October from 9:00 to 18:00.
