The configuration of the Bovec Basin is very suitable for cross-country skiing. Less experienced cross-country skiers can enjoy the ski trail around the Bovec airfield and its extension toward Rabeljk.
Those slightly more experienced will find their pleasure on a trail near the village of Čezsoča, while the trail in Loška Koritnica embraced by Mt. Jalovec, Loška stena and the mighty Mt. Mangrt awaits only connoisseur skiers, to whom it offers complete relaxation and inner peace. In the near future, cross-country skiers will be able to enjoy another “gourmet” ski trail in Zadnja Trenta (Zapoden Valley), which is believed to be one of most beautiful cross-country ski trails in the Julian Alps.
