Freeride is a kind of skiing, snowboarding or telemark skiing that takes one back to a time when ski lifts did not exist and people enjoyed skiing across “virgin” terrain. Nowadays, this kind of skiing is much easier, since we do not have to wade through snow for hours just for a short, half-hour descent.
