The horseshoe-shaped Trenta Valley is carved between the mountains of the upper Soča River. Glaciers and the Soča River have shaped this picturesque valley with sheer cliffs, narrow and challenging gorges, and waterfalls.
In the farthest part of the valley, known as Zadnja Trenta, in the Zapotok cirque, you can find the highest waterfall in Triglav National Park.
Dom Trenta serves as the information centre for Triglav National Park, while the Trenta Museum showcases the ethnological heritage and the rich, unique cultural and historical legacy of Trenta.
